How Seroja Came to Be
Seroja began in Melaka with a simple observation: many business owners in Malaysia were making significant decisions with very little structured support. They had the instincts, but not always the framework. They had the drive, but not always a clear map of where to direct it.
The practice was established to fill that gap — not with high-volume advisory that moves fast and listens little, but with careful, one-engagement-at-a-time work. The name Seroja, the Malay word for lotus, reflects the philosophy: thoughtful unfolding, layer by layer, with patience.
Over time, Seroja has developed three distinct engagement types, each sized and scoped for a different stage of business life. From a first look at a small owner-led operation, to a sustained quarterly partnership with a multi-team organisation, the work is always shaped around the client rather than fitted to a template.
We are based in Melaka and work with businesses across Malaysia, in person and remotely.

Ahmad brings over fifteen years of experience working with Malaysian SMEs across retail, services, and manufacturing. He leads the First Fold Review and Unfolding Growth Planning engagements.
Nurul Rashidah
Advisory Specialist
Nurul focuses on organisational structure and decision-flow analysis. She leads the Advanced Layered Advisory and supports complex multi-session engagements with detailed documentation.
Hazwan Bahari
Planning Associate
Hazwan prepares budget outlines, priorities sheets, and session summaries. He ensures every engagement produces clear, usable documentation that clients can refer back to.

Business information shared with Seroja is held in strict confidence. We do not discuss client details with other clients or third parties under any circumstances.

Timeline Discipline
Sessions are scheduled in advance and kept to their agreed duration. Follow-up notes and documents are delivered within the timeframe set at the start.
Data Protection
Client data is stored securely and accessed only by the consulting team directly involved in your engagement. Our data handling aligns with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act.
Open Communication
